VISIONARY INSPIRATIONS
From the age of eight, Gianni Kesteloot wanted to become a filmmaker after Spielberg's "E.T." inspired him to do so.
At 12 he already started shooting his first stories into shortfilms.
His writing evolved to scriptwriting and Film story structuring.
Gianni first started his studies at the Art School in Ghent, Belgium where he learned the basics of Filmmaking and Photography, where after he moved on to one year of Filmmaking at The International academy of Film and Television in Antwerp belgium.
"Although you need a basic knowledge of your craft" Gianni says,
"The Real craft is the thing brought foreward by your talent and can only be learned on a movieset".
During the course of his studies he started to make his own shortfilms next to his school excersices,
"because you can only get experience
by doing".
To get into the emotions of a story, Gianni loves listening to FilmSScores and in particular the Soundtracks from Master Composer James newton Howard.
Howard made the music for movies like "The Dark Knight", "The Hunger Games Thrilogy", "Blood Diamond" and all the
M. Night Shyamalan films...
In 2012 Gianni went to a concert in his birthtown Ghent where he met James and talked about his dream to become a Director.
On a picture James wrote:
"To Gianni,
maybe we'll work together someday".
This was the first time gianni discovered the knowledge of the law of attraction, that set his first visions in spirituality that will bring his further life messages.
In 2015 he went on a self promo tour to
Los Angeles, California to get in contact with filmmakers from the Hollywood Film Industry. This time he could meet James at
his scoring studio in Santa Monica, CA.
in the meanwhile This Highly ambitious guy made and worked on More than 10 shortfilms,
one hollywoodfilm, 10 video Interviews
and two music videos.
Next to that He was a Reporter, editor
and crewmember for the International
Ghent Film Fest, belgium, two times
in 2013 and 2015.
Now He is writing his first feature film.
For a guy in his beginning 20's,
he already achieved quiet a lot.
with this he wants to spread a message
into the world to let people
understand life and bring balance
to the beautiful place of planet earth,
and make it the place it desirves to be.
With this he finds himself
just at the beginning
of what his future awaits...
